Apply for a merit scholarship, a financial-need scholarship, or both. Every application is assessed for creative potential and technical promise.

Before you begin

How to apply

  • Choose your scholarship track in Part 2.
  • Complete every part that applies to your track. Incomplete applications are not reviewed.
  • Prepare three original works, your statements, references, ID, and supporting evidence.
  • Your audition or interview will be booked after your file is complete.
Talent standard. Financial-need applicants must also score at least 60/100 on the merit rubric. Hardship alone does not qualify an applicant.

Scholarships are open to accepted applicants and enrolled students who meet the eligibility criteria. Submitting an application does not guarantee an award.

Part 6 References

Provide two references. We will email them directly. One must be a music or audio mentor or teacher; the other an academic, employer, or community reference. References cannot be family members.

Part 7 Financial need

Complete this part if you chose Financial Need or Both. Use annual amounts in USD and support every figure with documents.

Describe your situation, recent changes, what your family can realistically contribute, and what you have done to fund your studies.

Part 8 Supporting documents

Submit household income proof plus documents from at least two more categories. Sensitive lines may be redacted, but income and balance lines must stay visible.

How your evidence is handled

A finance officer reviews financial documents separately from the talent panel. Documents are stored securely, used only for this decision, and scheduled for deletion 12 months after the intake closes.

Part 9 Submission checklist

Upload your ID, check your file, and confirm that the people you named are ready to provide references.

Scheduled after your application file is complete; remote live video with DAW screen share is available.

Part 10 Declaration

I confirm that all work submitted is my own and that all information and documents are accurate and complete. I understand that false information or misrepresented work may lead to disqualification or withdrawal of an award.

I consent to the Institute verifying my documents and storing them as described above. I understand that awards are conditional on attendance, satisfactory progress, and the scholar agreement.
